About The Cosmos Seed Set
Cosmos plants are sun-loving and offer a lengthy flowering season, producing an abundance of flowers that range in colour from white to pink, red, and orange. The feathery foliage serves as a contrast to the masses of flowers and makes for a striking addition to the borders. Shorter cosmos varieties can also be grown in containers, and all cosmos plants make wonderful cut flowers. In The Records
During their time in Mexico, Spanish priests cultivated Cosmos in their mission gardens. The flower's evenly spaced petals inspired them to give it the name "Cosmos," taken from the Greek word for harmony or ordered universe. Like marigolds and many other warm-weather annuals, Cosmos originated in Mexico and South America.
