Seed Grow Kit Guide
Start sowing the Rewild Garden Seed Box directly outdoors from March to June or August to October in a sunny, weed-free spot such as garden beds, terraces, or containers around 30 cm in size. These native wildflower seeds thrive best when given some love and attention to establish well.
Sowing
Sow the seeds thinly on bare, weed-free soil that has been raked over to create a fine tilth. Keep the soil moist during germination to encourage healthy growth, ideally sowing between March and October for best results.
Growing
Once seedlings emerge, thin them to avoid overcrowding and allow space for flowers to develop fully, considering the pot size and spread of the wildflowers. Providing a sunny, flat location helps support robust growth throughout the growing months from May to October.
Plant care
Maintain consistent moisture especially during dry spells to support continuous blooms that attract pollinators. Deadhead spent flowers regularly to prolong the flowering season and encourage a vibrant display. As these seeds are part of a rewilding mix, minimal intervention beyond watering and deadheading helps sustain a natural garden habitat.

About Rewild Gardening
Rewilding restores natural habitats by encouraging native plants that support local wildlife. Wildflower meadows have declined across Britain, reducing food and shelter for pollinators. By sowing native wildflowers at home, you help rebuild these vital ecosystems. This seed box offers an easy way to start your own wildflower patch, enhancing soil health and bringing seasonal colour and life to your garden.
FAQs
A rewilded garden uses native plants to recreate natural habitats that support wildlife like bees and butterflies. It favours a natural, flowing look over tidy borders, increasing biodiversity and soil health.
This seed box includes UK-native wildflowers such as borage, crazy daisy, nigella ‘Miss Jekyll’, Shirley Double poppy, thyme and a wildflower meadow mix, chosen for their ecological value and long flowering season.
Sow seeds directly into sunny borders, containers, raised beds or bare soil. Choose a weed-free area for best results. Over time, the mix softens garden edges and creates a natural meadow space that supports pollinators and wildlife.
