How to Grow
Pandora Poppy seeds are best sown directly outdoors in spring or autumn, thriving in full sun and well-drained soil typical of garden beds, terraces, or containers. This annual requires minimal care, making it ideal for easy wildflower beauty in your garden.
Sowing
Scatter the seeds thinly on the surface of compact, moist soil during March to May or August to October, ensuring they receive light to aid germination. Keep the soil moist until seedlings appear to support successful growth.
Growing
Once seedlings emerge, thin them out to avoid overcrowding, allowing enough space for the plants to reach their natural spread within containers around 25 cm in size or garden beds. This spacing helps maintain healthy growth and display of their elegant flowers from May through September.
Plant care
Water the Pandora Poppy moderately, keeping the soil moist but not waterlogged, particularly during dry spells. Deadhead spent flowers regularly to encourage prolonged blooming and consider succession sowing within the sowing months to extend the flowering period and support pollinators.
